Returns window
30 days from delivery. Parts must be unused, in their original packaging, with all included hardware. Pieces that have been installed, drilled, plated, or otherwise modified cannot be returned.
How to start a return
Email contact@aumsen.com with the order number (eBay or Stripe), the part you want to return, and a one-line reason. We reply within 1–2 business days with a return address. For eBay orders, you can also start the return through the eBay order page; we monitor that channel.
Return shipping
Buyer pays return shipping unless the part arrived faulty, mis-machined, or different from what was listed — in those cases we cover return shipping and ship a replacement at our expense.
Refunds
Once the part arrives back at the workshop and passes the inspection (unused, original packaging), we issue the refund within 3 business days to the original payment method. Bank settlement times vary; allow up to 10 business days for the refund to land on a card statement.
Shipping timelines
Domestic orders ship within 1–2 business days from receipt of payment. International orders ship within 1–2 business days and arrive in 5–10 business days for most destinations; outliers (rural Latin America, parts of Africa, customs-heavy lanes) can take longer.
Customs and import VAT
Customs duties and import VAT in the destination country are the buyer's responsibility. We ship with accurate commodity descriptions and declared values; we cannot mark shipments as gifts or under-declare value. The HS code on each product page is the controlling reference.
Lost or damaged in transit
If a tracked shipment shows no movement for 10 business days after dispatch, email contact@aumsen.com — we open a carrier trace and ship a replacement once the trace is filed. If the parcel arrives damaged, photograph the outer packaging and the part before contacting us so we can file the carrier claim.
Custom and OEM orders
Custom and OEM batches are made to your specification and are non-returnable once production has started, except for failure to meet the agreed-upon spec. The first-article sample sign-off step in our OEM process exists to catch geometry / finish issues before the production run is cut.
